it is pretty short, tho, barely worth it!

i actually have full interview footage of this 120 mins w/ Dave Kendal. He mainly talked about the video GTM. He said that they shot the video in the Philippines. He said he didnt really want to go there but the director that he wanted to shoot the video lived there. He also blamed himself for Mt. Pinatubo's eruption in June 1991. They actually shot the video a few months b4 it exploded. I guess its just one of those Barney's corny sense of humor...

Yep!! or 16... freaky! He still looked and acted like a kid up to about 2000 or so, 2002... but its still there to some degree. LOL
And nope, no word on Electronic. Johnny's busy full-time with Modest Mouse and touring with them and going to be working on their new album, and side shit with the fuckin Cribs.
But, Neil Tennant did make a comment supposedly to someone about a possible Electronic thing in the future. Johnny seems more like an artist who usually just moves on, but, who knows. I was going to ask him in November about Electronic, but he and I got interrupted by an annoying woman who kept trying to kiss ass or god knows what. 
Then I forgot about it. Damnit.
What does the Get the Message video mean? Goldigging girlfriend?
They are sitting in front of a brick wall. There is a line about a "brick wall" in the song. Pretty simple.
Marr and Bernard go into a dark building when the chorus about "sinning" comes on. They pantomime oral sex??? Bernard finds a dusty box? Looking for treasure for the "golddigger"?
Then some shots of poor Philipine kids. Some really nice scenery with the volcano. Some people running on the sand.
Bernard and Marr had to fly to the Philipines for THIS? A free vacation thou, must be nice to be a rock star.

Which video was it that the director wanted them to tape it at some Zoo or something, but Barney was against the idea because he couldn't stand being around animals or some bullshit. I read this in some Electronic interview a while back. Was it "Getting Away With It?" or "Get the Message"? I can't remember.

He doesn't mean fook all. Apart from say Regret, Barney's lyrics make no sense at all.
