Aye , liked it when it first surfaced although it is slightly dated and reminds me of some old Rozalla track:laugh:

Dunno how I missed this the first time around so cheers for the link Clive.

I am hungover to fcuk, so don't quite know what to make of this.

Why is Frank Sinatra singing?

I think I like the europop stylee music though, reminds me very much of a dance remix of Fields Of Athenrye

Hooky played this at a Hacienda Classics night I was at recently.

Cos they were always playing things like this at the Hac

I've never got on with it. It reminds me of that Mike Flowers guy that covered the Wonderwall.

Who is Paul Haig anyway? Has he done anything else?

You jest, shirley? He was frontman in Josef K!

Saw him live at a Billy MacKenzie tribute last year - he recorded one album (I think) with MacKenzie at some point.

And he's facking tiny.

I think he was holder of the Flattest Flat Top In Scotland Award three years running from 1985.

The kind of song that reminds me of when you used to come up on a good E - where you reach that point where everything goes crystal clear and it's game over!

His diction can sometimes be a bit odd, I've got a CD single of his from eon's ago called 'Something Good' to which the opening line is "Open the door, and leave behind the memories" - but the way he sings it, it sounds like "...and leave behind the mammaries".

The Only Truth was one of his better efforts.Used to have the 7" of this.
