Special, as far as I know, was only performed live once at Roskilde 1993, and never again afterwards.
Has this ever been recorded? Special is one of my favourite NO tracks and I would love to listen to it live... Is there any audio or video recording from Roskilde floating around?

Sorry, that wasn't very helpful... many people here have copies, but I'm afraid I don't have the means to copy it.
You should try the Buy/Sell/Trade section. Someone may be happy to swap a copy for something that you have.
I've heard it...its a bit sloppy but sounds good nontheless.
They also apparently played Special at the Montreux Jazz Fest show, but it wasn't broadcast.
Special is one of my all time favorite New Order songs. Here is to hoping that if New Order ever tour again or of Barney ever does a solo gig, it will get revived, cause its a lovely tune.
And its got a string swell sample from Massive Attack in it!
