Superb. Its getting better with age. Up there with crystal. With hindsight, i wish NO stuck with this template a little more with WFTSC. Wftsc sounds a bit too new orderish now.

I agree, it's a great song, very JD ish, but as for sticking to the template, it's the variety that keeps them going, no other band can do dance, pop, punk, goth, spaghetti western, electro, rap (!!!), classical and country to such a high standard (other than the rap of course).

Just keeping on making music would be fine for me/

Fabulous tune. The amount of times I tried to get it played on Mark & Lard's Cheesily Cheerful Chart Challenge at the time...

Great song, and I wish it would have featured in the live sets during the last "tours".

WFTSC is superb...

I love Primitive Notion....specially the second half where all of those icy glacial synths come in...beautiful and remiscent of Decades and the Eternal.

Somehow when I first got Get Ready, I thought it was subpar... even lower than Republic. I listen to it now and I want to go back and slap the crap otta myself. GR has alot of great songs... PN is a great one... sounds like it could almost fit on Substance...:thumb:

Fantastic track.Very Joy Division esque section at around 40 seconds in.Great drumming by Steve , fairly good bassline by Hooky, high inducing synths.Only slight teeny quibble would be maybe when Barney sings the "done it before and i'll do it again" part - is a bit lame and uninspiring.

One of the best tracks from the record. Seems to be an obvious attempt to go back and be "Joy Division-ish" since they felt re-energized by getting back to recording again, and they are certainly allowed.

Could be tightened up production wise a bit, like most of the Get Ready record.

Prob my favourite track since the days of 'Technique'. Very JD bassy, great Sunrise-esque vocals too.
