Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. Apologies if this query has been answered before - I'm new to this forum.

I'm trying to track down a rare New Order song that begins 'Sometimes I stare to heaven, see the man I will become'.

I don't what era of the band it was from, although I suspect it would have been '86-'89 and I think it appeared on a limited edition 12", but not sure. It's a cracking tune and I can't fathom why on earth it didn't get featured more prominently anywhere!? Any pointers much appreciated!

It's actually a Revenge track (Hooky's early 90s side project) called "Jesus.. I Love You".

It is available in a couple of places including the long deleted Factory release but is probably easier to find on the recent-ish "One True Passion V2.0" CD compilation from LTM.

Good idea to order directly from LTM (last link above) if you want it brand new - LTM are a good label, and James Nice is a top bloke.

nobody has ever transcribed the lyrics, which is a shame.

i'd love to know what is going on lyrically in the last parts......

maybe Jack can steal the sheets and post them here!
