I much prefer the "rap" by john barnes, and "the b-side" pure unmatched lyrical and vocal genius. And come on who doesn't like "England New Order" what a badass group.
Its not been recorded yet. Goes under the working title of "Bitter Memories" and is due to be released in 2011.

The B-side is rumoured to be called "The fool and ace of drums"
I'll be the odd one out on this, and cast my vote on Loveless. And while i'm at it, I love hooky on inbetween days, and close to me. Oh to hell with it, the best NO track ever is "Can't get blue monday out of my head".
Seriously, "Ceremony" is my favourite song of all time, but it's not quite a New Order song is it? So the next best thing is "Temptation"... all versions.

Ceremony is one of those songs that no matter how much I play, I never tire of. Some of the best songs ever written are the simple ones. And this one of them. The clip of Radiohead on Youtube covering this classic seems to emphasis its status. I never saw that one coming. I also think the Academy version is probably my favourite.
1963(arthur baker mix) or Waiting for the sirens call. Or if you think those are too commercial i'll go with Elegia.
Obekorn(its a small town) the depeche mode cover. Actually the alan wise intro from the retro boxset.
BLT True Faith 1963
I cant decide. I think 1963 is the best written song (if that makes sense). I also think it has Bernards best vocals ever recorded. I love the keyboards, the intro, the tension building towards the end, the subtle guitar parts and the lyrics are pretty good too. The only thing it lacks is a dominent Hooky bassline. Maybe thats why it sounds like one of their most un-New Orderish songs.
The full, unedited version of The Perfect Kiss is truly a landmark.
Followed by Everything's Gone Green, Temptation, Bizarre Love Triangle, and True Faith in no certain order.
Oh, and Age Of Consent. And Your Silent Face.
Gah! Too many choices!
