Promo copy arrived today, here's some quick screen grabs:

"They were good but I prefer The Cure."

"Someone pick Shug up..."

Silky smooth.

Erm.

For anyone worrying - myself included - there don't seem to be any proper "pissed up fan interviews" rather just 3-4 second long snippets of people saying NO are the "besht band ever" For those worrying about an Academy-style format, the menu offers you the choice of playing the show minus interviews.

I haven't looked at the second disc much yet but the footage looks very interesting and the sound is top notch so far; a first for a New Order DVD release.

P.s. An "excitable" Shugster can be heard very briefly during John's screencap but not seen... probably best! :evil4:

Digi Mike looks like Neil Tennant

And did Barney help in the design for the car advert behind John and Lorraine - "C'mon!" ?

No idea, it just "cuts" to the tatt.

DigiMike most likely?

Al J never wears jeans.

I can't look at that without hearing "Police have releaseed this CCTV image of the suspected....."

As for the advert, a those little creatures in the TV version should surely be referred to as "Barnies"

(I think we already decreed that somewhere when it first appeared on TV actually)

Again Mike, very short interview snippet (5-6 seconds).

You just say you've been following NO since 1981.

I'm afraid to say i'm the reprobate making offensive gestures behind your woman... she was a bit of a bawsac and fully deserves the abuse me and mozza gave her!

Why is it that whenever they interview someone for a DVD they're almost always boneheads? No offence intended, but they could at least ask someone or use an interview that is slightly more incisive than a knuckle-dragging "THEY'RE THE BEHST! I LOVE THEM AND I LOVE TO GO MENTAL TO THEM!"

Time constraints. If you tried to find an eloquent person at a NO gig, the production costs would skyrocket.

I was stone cold sober at every one of the 06 gigs I attended, and you'd have got fuck all but braying "Noooo ODDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH" out of me frankly.
