Is this version some kind of edit? It sounds distinctly different from the version on technique, and version of run 2 i've heard.
Video version of "Run"

It's the real Run 2. Anything appearing after the original 12" single in 1989 is just the regular version from the album (despite being labeled as Run 2) thanks to the lawsuit brought by John Denver.
There's no distinction between Run and Run 2 as far as the Denver lawsuit was concerned. He now has a songwriting credit on both, if they choose not to release Run 2 then it's for other reasons.
Just curious about this John Denver lawsuit, which I've always heard about because fans constantly bring it up, but I've never actually read any official account about it anywhere. Where was it ever brought up? Is this verified, or is it another perpetuated myth/lie? And don't tell it's on wikipedia, because that doesn't necessarily mean it's true.
I know that the publishing says "Cherry Lane Music" for Run, of course, so that indicates it's probably true, but where was the lawsuit ever written about?
