Yes, there are many quotes from Touching from a Distance, but I missed seeing a proper interview with her.

They asked her. She didn't want to be involved, but was happy for them to use her quotes.

Jon Savage said that when we saw a Q&A.

Remember Ian was her husband, the father of her daughter, and she had filed for divorce shortly before his death.

Deborah's definitive word is "Touching From a Distance"

Perhaps she did not wish to go to time or place again.

she already wrote a book. What more else can she say? Plus the other women was in it.

Has she ever did interviews before? Other than her involvement with the book?

Not that she should or feel obligated to do interviews.

Thanks for the answers. Of course she has all the right of not wanting to be involved. I assume she had 'nothing' to do with Control either (except writing the book)

No - she was heavily involved in Control. Sam Riley comments on her being on set in a couple of interviews.

There is a shot of her at Barton Street during filming in the "Making Of" section of the Control DVD

I was at a JD Doc Q+A at Lincoln Center, NYC=

This question was asked, and the answer was that she was supposed to come for an interview, but flaked. This was shortly after her involvement with Control, and presumably was too much for her.
