Community 2 orders - PLEASE READ — Forum Archive

Hello everyone,

It seems a lot of people who ordered the Community 2 CDs didn't receive their orders, and it saddens me a lot.

The orders have been processed, just not shipped, and it seems to be the case for all orders since January.

I don't know what's up with WenOrder and why they were never shipped, but at this point, I think I can only remove the shop from the website and ask you to use the paypal tools to request a refund.

I will try to get the boxes of CD to process myself with the shipping, seems rather obvious that WenOrder must be too busy to do it (not that I'm not too busy either).

Sorry about all this, but there is nothing I can do myself as I don't have any extra CDs at home... and can't do the shipping myself, and the paypal account is not mine.

I have removed the item from the shop, I got too many emails of people asking why they have not received it yet.

Sorry people, it's out of my control... I got 1 box of those (so 30 CDs) and I gave most of them away... I will try to have boxes shipped to me (then again, we all know how good I am at shipping things :evil4: )

Oddly enough, I was looking through the used CD section of a local shop and saw all three Community CDs (1, 2 and the EP). This was in Warwick, Rhode Island of all places. How they ended up there I'll never know.

Going back through paypal only works if you purchased the CD within the last 45 days. For those of us who ordered the CD more then 45 days ago; we are pretty much out of luck in getting our money back. Since paypal only offers a 45 day protection.

Since I ordered it back in January and never received the CD; the chances of me getting the money back are slim and none.

The only way paypal will do anything more; is that a lot of people file disputes; but until then we are basicly out of luck.

I have left several email messages to Weneworder...and none have been responded to? This is crazy...can anyone get in touch with these people and have them send out the cd's if we can't have paypal refund us?

I would be happy just to get a copy of the CD.

If the CD's could be sent to someone else and have that person mail out the cd's to people who purchased them and never got them; might work.

The bad part for me; seems to be the lack of response; since people were posting about this problem since January.

I'm in the same situation here- paid for it in January and never saw it show up. I believe I emailed about it, but never heard anything back.

It has been too long for me to request a reversal from Paypal, so what should I do now? I'd really like to get a copy of the CD if possible, but I'm sure as fook not going to pay for it again.

i'm in the same situation as Nic, the box i received was for the argie order and it's been sold out ages ago. i wish i had more to post the cds myself. i'll try to get to Mike ASAP. at least we should send the copies that have been already payed. :shrug:

Just a thought, but i presume you've got wenorders number nic? since he doesnt respond to our emails, could you try calling him re this and asking him to get his finger out?

A quick glance at WEN Order's Myspace page shows that he is in the land of the living. Mike last logged-on on 03-Aug-08. However his page strap line gives a clue to what he's been pre occupied with 'It's a Girl!'.

Mike, if you're reading, congrats on your new arrival and hope evrything's good with you. Now you should let Nic know what's going on and arrange for these CDs to be distributed somehow.

Can't somebody just rip the CDs and post the flacs or --preset extreme mp3s on USENET, Bittorrent, or any other p2p network?

For fuck's sake, does ANYONE have this CD? At this point, I don't care about the jewel case, I'll settle for just being able to hear the shit in anyway I can get it.

yeah i think something like this could be doable. is not the same and is not the best obviously, but at least is a solution. Nic, what do you think?

Today i got home to find not one BUT two COMMUNITY Cds and one bonus disc.Thanks to the NOOL'er who kindly sent one from his own collection(with costs-that's the SPIRIT!).Bit weird this arrived at the same time as the other one.Now should i open these STILL SEALED items........that would be a FIRST? regards ROCKET MICK
