This is most probably an old chestnut but have pondered this for a few years and perhaps someone on the orderline can shed some fucking light.

The Lightening Shite Hawks' song 'Pure' - (when we're talking about bands that steal), was permission granted to obtain Hooky's sublime bass lick in 'Love Vigilantes' for this song or did Ian Brody and his band of dancing cabbages just rip it off like several of their other sugar coated wank missions?

Comments would be appreciated on this - as its been on my tits for about 10 years... just like a great deal of crisp crumbs and various cat hairs.

Got a feeling it was just ripped off. New Order have always been a bit lax (or record company have anyway - especially during Factory days).

I'll check up and report findings (if any).

Good work Nasher - you are becoming a familiar poster here in the orderline... Sebsy may reward you with a gold coin... I here he collects them.

Sorry, Hunty Bunty...

Don't know... I should listen back to the song but don't have it.

But it's clear NO was never the kind to bother suing...

Hunty Bunty - that is a very good name for a rabbit and/or hedgehog.

You missed the opportunity to say "rabbit stroke hedgehog" which is far funnier. Please pay more attention.

I collect Pringles now.

I hear they're easier to digest.

Sebzy.

Hunty Dumpty would be a more good nickname.

Don't know if they are known somewhere else, but they are actually a brand of crips over here :D

(From the Alice in Wonderland caracter of course Humpty Dumpty)
