still without bass
No, no it's a new music concept. They're releasing the bass seperately.
It's called Freebass.

Hah, nice!
Meanwhile, we have a new radio at work. One of the stations is, apparently, titled "80's Hits"... and I love what I'm hearing to be honest:
The Perfect Kiss Blue Monday '83 Love Vigilantes Bizarre Love Triangle ['Brotherhood' version] --and that one song with the "Oh I can't bear the thought of you" chorus... damnit I forgot the name. That one.

Glad I could help.
I love Face Up.
Just been reading the 20th Anniversary issue of Marie Claire from earlier in the year.
One of the features included stories that have featured over the last 20 years.
In 2006 there was an article named 'The men who have sex with dolls'. The photograph shows a man playing on a games console, with a plastic doll beside him. The doll is wearing a White Joy Division - Closer T-shirt.
Tried scanning it but it won't work.
Oh I have another, saw my Dad yesterday and apparently there was a question on Eggheads (teatime quiz show for non Brits)- "What band consists of x,y,z"
... he didn't know
then they said 'Peter Hook' and my Dad shouted 'NEW ORDER'
I'm so proud.
My mum just rolled her eyes.
Steel band playing "Love Will Tear Us Apart" at Picadilly Gardens (as I type this) - sounds very good! :)

TVNewZealand are using Atmosphere on their promo sting for the upcoming season of tripe new telly shows
Sink or Swim on NME radio
request them to play the song by E-mailing them here

Last night on the 2 hour season premiere of House, there was an acoustic cover version of Love Vigilantes playing. It's not often you hear a New Order song on at prime time on American network television. Cool.
Hooky on BBC1 Northwest tonight about Cargo Studios in sunny Rochdale, interview & clip of Atmosphere video, unveiling of comemorative plaque.Andy McCluskey of OMD too & clip of Electricity.John Robb was there & Paddy from Emmerdale too (!) ![]()

Oh, Ann! You beat me to it!!
WTF is up with these crap indie versions of songs on American TV? I think Grey's Anatomy started it.![]()
What Do You Want From Me at half time at Eastlands last night.
Lovely to hear Hooky's dulcet tones over the hallowed turf as the players prepared to seal another famous home victory.

Well they played it on nme radio, so I just wanted people to know.
Right, so they're playing it every now and again on NME radio and you can request that they play it more if you want. We get it.
Now please just cut the crap and tell us what part you play in the promotion of this band (assuming it isn't, as you persist in claiming, timpani).
My sister was watching Nancy Drew and she told me there was something NO related, so she showed me. Turns out it's a cover of Blue Monday...
cover version of Love Vigilantes on new series of House, probably been pointed out by those in the US, but first time over here.
At the Madchester Night Special event, at the club Unit in Tokyo, DJ Sugiurumn played 'World in Motion'. (I was there!)
Also, Mani was there (Mani played from 1AM to about 3AM-ish), and Mani dropped a few NO/JD related stuff. He dropped 'Blue Monday', 'Regret', 'Transmission', and 'Out of Control'.
After Mani did his setlist, DJ Yoda played some stuff (although I only got to listen to 2 songs by Yoda because I was tired and I needed to get back to the hotel), and one of the songs I heard dropped by DJ Yoda was Electronic's 'Getting away with it'.
Um, not New Order spotting but Joy Division spotting...
Damien Hirst's new exhibition is apparently called "No Love Lost"
It's full of gloomy things like skulls.
Do the side projects count?
Anyway, I bought a compilation CD called "3x20 Colours -Music from British Independent Record Companies 1980---1990" and one of the discs had "Jesus, I love you" by Revenge on it.
JD spotting...
Someone told me JD was mentioned in OK! magazine. It said Kristen Stewart bought a JD shirt.
I don't know if that's been mentioned. In the movie "He's Not That Into You" with Jennifer Connolly and Ben Afflleck, in the bar scene they play Mr. Disco.
