The mixes you can hardly hear what would be the original are sometimes bad and every now and then even annoying... but... there are soooo many good remixes... One of my favourites is Everything's Gone Green Cicada Mix. It would be great if someone has made an extended version of it...

There's a mix of 8:33 mins. lenght floating around. While the sound quality is very good (could really be an outtake mix), the mixing quality though is awfull. I could do that ways better, and I probably will give a try.

The Richard X Remix of BLT is an amazing update to the original. True Dub, Shep and the Perfecto mixes of True Faith are amazing... the Glimmers Club mix of Krafty is right cool, but right now my fav is the Tribute Mix of WFTSC. It's just amazing. They took the song, stripped it down a bit and made it danceable, but not fully housey. The best thing about it is the samples of previous NO songs that are seasoned throughout the track. Hearing subtle bits and pieces of True Faith, Theives like Us, Blue Monday, BLT and others over New Order's most recent single is goddamn cool. It kinda wraps up their career in a really satisfying way.

Lots of good remixes (as per defined here) but I have to go with "Here to Stay - Felix da Housecat's Extended Glitz Mix" as a favourite.
Tough call though, I might change my mind over time.
On the subject of remixes, what happened to that remix topic, did it become too illegal or something and get deleted?

It was binned because certain people took it beyond innocently sharing a few promo only remixes to sharing entire promotional CDs that are still (like it or not) copyrighted to Warner Brothers. The site wouldn't last long if that sort of thing was allowed to happen with impunity.
Hence the thread is gone... and hopefully the people - two in particular - who decided to start sharing out half the band's discography so indiscreetly will know not to do it again.
*HINT*People can do whatever they like behind the scenes over email*HINT* but on here and in public it's a different matter and could easily come back to bite Spotnick on the arse quite badly if the law was ever involved. In a legal sense and taking into account where that thread was heading, the band's management would have every right to pursue the site.
