Coolest Bands Ever Poll

There was a poll in the express today were thousands of 18-30 yearolds voted for the coolest bands ever. N.O. + J.O. both in there. Reckon this is one of these polls where people get asked what interest you most? and they invariably reply: History... Art... Politics and then they go and watch Ski Sports' Snooker & Darts Telethom Especial. Likewise people think that it´s cool to say you like NO or Massive Attack but then go straight into the Record Shop to buy Destiny's Child's last.

I dont think its like that at all. I think they're just voting for their coolest bands ever. Nothing else to it. Its not to be taken too seriously but I think most the bands in there are, er, whats the word? Cool.

So why don´t they go and buy the friggin´Get Ready. A case of putting your money where your mouth is.. (bit unhigienic, though! :\puke: )

Ceremony did they actual achieve number 2 status? ... if so, that is truly a momentous occurence. I wouldn't imagine NO had that much of a following, being a fairly cult band - enough to warrant clocking up to no. 2! - seems a shame they never hit the top spot. If only Steve Morris was called Ring Pull or something slightly amusing.

Or chin surgery perhaps. Though what a star, been tapping along with my new drumstick to his amazing beats these last couple of days, again the man is a star.

They may well be boring but they also have good taste by looking at the the bands in the poll. Imagine readers of the sun or the sport! What are your favourite bands? Er, I like banging garage man, top banging trance or some pile of shit like that anyway. By the way, I read the express sometimes you cheeky git!
