What`s everyone up to for the weekend then?

Drinking, watching shite football, visiting me Gran.

In that order.

Watching tele, having my tea, scrubbing the bedroom walls ready for decorating... in reverse order.

You know, its easy to lie on the internet isn't it. To say, well this weekend I'm taking my badger to the dark side of the moon. Well, not on this, most unique site.

Can't imagine that Seb is stretching the truth with his comment. Refreshing honesty circulates this place.

AAAAhhhhh, typhoo.

(can anyone top the prevous entries.. I think not)

Ad man - very minimallist house, mostly all rooms are very, very, very light brown (almost a white/light brown). No wallpaper 'in a area - which means the walls have to be scrubbed until all previous knobles of crap are smooth and out the way. Then the paint gets lashed on like smooth peanut butter over a delicate slice of freshly toasted bread.

So, its just off white if we can manage to skim the fucking walls good enough.

Thanks for asking.

Not only am I a veggie (my love of the animal kingdom previously broadcast on recent posts) - but I was tee-total until I reached the age of 25 (yes, I am older than 25). Bad stomach problems dictated that alcohol could not be consumed until just lately. Soooo... unlike the Hook'o, I'll be getting mashed big time on all upcoming gigs.

Thats OK I like to keep up to date on peoples home interior choices. I have to enjoy home improvement through other peoples houses though because it looks like Ill be renting till I croak if the prices in London keep on the way they are. At the moment I can just about afford a couple of planks propped against the underside of some railway arches. And a blanket, if I re mortgage.

Not wishing to speak out-of-turn here Ad-man, but, I know of an exceptional gaff not half an hour from my very door that demands spectacular views of the Northen Coastline - on some days, you can see 3,4, even 6 large tankers heading into port with their cargo of shite from Norway.

For the price your paying for a small cupboard in the smoke, you could have this 9 bedroom'd mansion complete with tennis courts, personal football arena and matching door handles.

Think about it.

Thanks for the ever so tempting sales pitch but I left the north behind me eight years ago because noone wants to pay me to do what I do back there. And I try not to look in estate agents windows when I go home now because I`m sick of realising that if I go back I could buy a small terraced street and knock it into one narrow but very long two up two down. And still have change for a bag of chips and my bus fare home.

This topic is totally New Order related :D

What I am going to do? Well.. enjoy the last week-end of summer, it will be 29 degrees here (Celcius) and it's probably the last hot week-end of the summer...!

This weekend I'm doing absolutely nothing, apart from visiting my grandparents and trying to get over not being well this past week.

'Tis a bitch alright Adam... the North, well, I mean, the really really North is just wank for jobs. Started my own company - the only way of guarantee'ing decent, continued work. A pal of mine was lead programmer on 'Turok II' for N64 - what kind of animation do you work on?

... oh no, Shelley, have you come to kick me off the site again?

Fuck me, Shelley's changed her name to LadyFlame.

Kids TV stuff mainly. Check out www.peppersghost.com I worked on a thing called Tiny Planets for them and I`m working on a kids tv thing for the world cup at the mo.

And as for this thread being non New Order related, it`s just nice to know about some of the other people here. We all know that people here are into New Order it kind of goes without saying, just trying to inject a bit of variety.

... we live in a small world. Just put some design work together for 'The Tweenies' - had to organise a photoshoot with the characters themselves. Got a better buzz out of working with Britt Allcroft company on some Thomas & Friends (old name Thomas the Tank Engine) stuff recently. A lot of this work can be bought from the shops - Toys 'r' Us and all that.

Have to go now - more meetings, catch up with you later... until the next time folks...

... well, before I go, I am a bit curious why LadyFlame thrower wanted to kick me off the site.

LadyFlame for what it's worth there are no enemies on this site, only friends. Despite your recent efforts to cast me off this beautiful site for whatever reason only you know I would like to extent my hand of friendship to you before I depart for the weekend.

Peace, that's all I ever wanted.

Huntsman, to answer your question, I took some of your comments the wrong way. Sorry about that!

Ian, nice to see another Old Head posting here - welcome aboard.

Sent you an e-mail in private, re: football allegiances (too ashamed to admit in public!).
