Trying to kill two birds with one stone.

Are shergold guitars relatively rare even in the UK?

I saw something and on Amazon that said the Peel Sessions were being reissued or available 12/30/08?

Shergolds are quite rare, they do crop up on ebay every few weeks, but the marathon6 bass is extremely rare, been looking for a couple of years and not seen one yet.

as for the peel sessions, not a clue, sorry.

The Peel Sessions (and the Strange Fruit live album) were due to be "24-bit" remastered in Japan this month, but have been indefinitely postponed...

Apparently it's not unheard of for the "standard" Shergolds (six string guitars and four string basses) to pop up on ebay.co.uk or in second hand shops, but they're virtually impossible to find stateside and the Marathon 6 is a unicorn.

There was a spate of Marathon 6 basses on eBay a few years back but none for quite a while now.
