They played it at most of the dates on the 2006 tour. Check out the gig lists in the LIVE section here. So the first time New Order played it would have been Bournemouth?
It was my song of 2006 - brings back all the memories whenever I hear it.

I remember hearing a couple of audience members at Wembley saying,
'Came here to hear New Order, not fucking Joy Division.'
Wankers... same as those at the John Peel Day who were complaining that there was no 'Blue Monday'.
At least Bournemouth had the feel of one of the earlier gigs - smaller venue, smaller audience and better atmosphere!
My fave gig of the tour was Newcastle but the way they tore through a Joy Division set at Wembley was awesome. I need a recording of that I think.

Still great track from a good gig!
A lot of these post millenium gigs just dont sound very good. Hook's bass has often sounded lifeless and a lot of the synthesis sounded very generic and forgettable.

C***s! Anyone who professes to follow the Order without at least an appreciation of JD is missing a vital understanding the band's music, where they came from etc.
Something Wilson said a while ago struck me the other day: he said that most people can think themselves extremely lucky to have been a member of one influential band but three members of Joy Division are almost unique in being members of two...and together as well!
