Using Audacity to clean up vinyl tracks

Ive used to to clean up some of my own compositions, from 4 track cassette tapes, and although it reduces some of the hissing, Ive found other software is better. I coudlnt name them though, as my pc crashed and I had to reinstall windows and lost most stuff in process.
