True Faith Remix

Anyone know where I can find the True Faith (Pet Shop Boys Remix)? Been searching for hours.

Pet Shop Boys never remixed it. I'm sure what you're looking for is the Shep Pettibone remix.

The Pet Shop Boys remix is indeed an edited version of the Shep Pettibone "Morning Sun" mix... I believe this confusion started when the first (illegal) downloadsites came (Napster), and someone probably thought "hé, this nice tune could have been mixed by the Pet Shop Boys..."

Well, Shep Pettibone did quite some remixing for the PSB at that time as well, so... this mistake was easily made I guess!

For what it's worth - I once found a 'TF PSB mix' on the defunct win-mx, and it was indeed just the Shep Pettibone mix. Given the high profile of both this song and the Pets I'm sure that if a true PSB mix existed it would've become common property by now!

Aw, I remember WinMX. That one was one of the better ones. Of course, nothing beat Audiogalaxy in it's heyday.

Did you get that Shadowplay remix? I sent you a link to the file a while back & didn't hear anything.

... It was the same with Winmx's 'Regret: PSB' mix. Turned out to be the NO mix... I wonder if this confusion came about 'cause the Pets used to DJ and probably included some NO trax. In fact despite their admiration I don't think they've ever reworked NO songs.
