For some reason.. perhaps cos its 3am?

I've just been down You Tube checking out WIFM.

Two clips stand out:

A pre-alky Gazza

rubbing it in, in an adjoining Scandinavian country, in a ramshackle way. Who the hell is the guy doing John Barnes?

I think it induces therapy at any hour.

Barney wearing sunglasses on stage at 2 in the morning!

In truth, the day was actually starting to break then!

I like how the video is edited to try to avoid closeups of Barney's cringe worthy hoppy dance.

It's still sheer brilliance.

@ Burt Reynolds:

I recognize that guy from the 511 DVD.

You can see him a number of times in it off to the side of the stage due to the fact that he's wearing the same shirt there as his is here.

Oh halcyon days. A roasting summer, ManU win the FA Cup (the beginning of a 19-year dominance of British football), England reach the semi-finals of the World Cup, Madchester was at its peak, and New Order go #1.

For all the scousers that claim they were in the Cavern Club in the 60s, or to the thousands who claim the were at the Free Trade Hall to watch the Pistols in 1976 - KISS MY ARSE!

I was a 16-year-old fookwit in Manchester in 1990. And it was good. :hat:
