Judging by the piss poor quality on the remasters, you wouldn't want masterpieces like those tarnished. And, well lets face it, Ruined In a Day was the London Years.

Two good points, I think I was pissed or something when I included a b-side from Republic!

If they do release the London Years, they're going to have shit for Bonus material for Republic. Most of the Spooky mixes, and World mixes are instantly forgettable.

I quite like(d) the Fire Island Mix (because of the piano) & Sabres Slow ´N Low (because of the (Barney's?) harmonica) of Regret.

The Ambiet Mix & The Reunited In A Day Mix of Ruined In A Day, The Brothers In Rhythm Mix & The Brothers Dubstrumental & World In Action Mix & The Pharmacy Dub of World (The Price Of Love).

The Out Of Order Mix & Stadium Mix & New Order In Heaven Mix & Boo! Dub Mix & Minimix, Magimix & Moulimix of Spooky.

Guess I was a sucker for them back in 1993...

I was always hoping for Special as the 2nd single instead of Ruined In A Day ... but the same artwork for that one would have worked for me also on Special ... that would have been great.

I prefer Fire Island and New Order mix for Regret. Ruined single I have only came with the ambient mix. And the dubs of world are ok, I just prefer the extended video mix.

I will agree, Special would've been a massive single. And I LOVE the artwork on Republic, such sheer treasures, and the whole fall of Rome story with the album cover.

I dislike the "lazy" choice of tracks as much as the next man but sticking both the 12" and the 7" versions would've been repetitive and a waste of CD really. I'd rather have the definitive 12" version or some decent live material.

I've yet to hear the 7" mix. Is it simply a cut-in/fade-out edit of the full length track (like the 7" of EGG), or is it actually a drastically different mix or recording? I know Ceremony was recorded twice, was that the case here?

I thought it was only the short version,I'll have to have a look.Didn't bother buying it after all the complaints on here.

Don't bother buying it just yet, the revised and improved versions aren't out yet (but will be soon).
