Sink Or Swim, but that doesn't mean it's THAT much better. They're both okay, but I really hope each act has much better album tracks in store for us.

Sink or Swim - Predictable song with really bad lyrics. I forget it even while I'm listening to it.
Stalingrad - WTF, song has no idea which direction its going, other than the KMart keyboard beat set to 'reggae'.
I'm really thankful neither are finished products.... but its not looking good for either side.
If it were a boxing match between BL and FB right now, it would be a KO by never exchanging a bout, but just giving themselves the upper-cut.

Oh, and I like both tracks, although both tracks could still use some work.
In particular, Barney needs to try to sing in the same key as the band for the entirety of the song, and Hooky needs to find the proper place in the mix for that psychedelic drone.
Still, I like both tracks.
Seeing as you stated that you only come here to find out about non NO related gigs I'd prefer it if you bogged off!
has there been a version of sink or swim other than the acoustic live performance?
cos you can't really tell what a song will sound like from that
