Hi All, I've been looking at this site for the last 8 years or so and this is my first post so please bear with me! A question has all ways bugged me and perhaps someone can help. Back around 1995 I recorded a really cool version of confusion on the radio (radio one I think) that I have never heard before or since. It had the original vocals but quite a trancy beat/music to it. It wasn’t any of the versions on the minimal records remix in 1990 or the acid house remixes which I have subsequently got off e-bay, so I can’t think of any releases that it could have been, could anyone help?!?

If it was in '95, and it wasn't one of the original versions or the Minimal Records remixes from '90, then it was either Dimitri's remix for Dance Music Club (not likely) or the Pump Panel remix from The Rest Of.
Half of the mixes in that list above came out after '95.
Guys thanks for all the feedback , $50 note & Bram great thanks you are correct it was the DMC mix, that has bugged me for years and must be the only version that I don’t have!, is there any way of buying on i-tunes or getting a MP3 version, sounds like quite an obscure mix?

Keep checking back in this forum until you see a post titled "Recycle". Wait.
I don't think this one is likely to appear on i-tunes. In fact, it doesn't sound like the music had anything to do with New Order -- Dimitri probably recorded the whole thing on top of the accapella parts from the Minimal 12". Still, not too bad, though... I guess that's why the band cleared it, despite it being an "unofficial" remix.
It's definitely worthwhile to get the Volume cd, if not for all the other fantastic tracks on it, then at least for the New Order feature in the book. There's at least one on eBay right now..item number: 280368575489
thanks, always thought it was a really good mix, if it is unofficial I am surprised it was played on a mainstream radio station...mind you you could have a box set CD all on its own of all the confusion remixes!
HAC-you NeveR really got over RIP2 Confusion CD-r i sent you in my great Drinking DAYS now did YOU?![]()

I wouldn't describe the Pump Panel remix as trancy.
