So weird...I was watching Conan O'Brian on Hulu last night and this ad came on at one point. I was just like "Is that...Ceremony that's playing? Hey, it is! Wait...this is an Absolut commercial...what the hell?"

Reverence is the word. Always thought it was a bit weird that a few people on here were slagging this cover off. All it said to me was a top band covering a song (and not ever recording it), which was a big influence on their past. I couldn't see a band pulling off a better faithful cover really on a live-streamed podcast to be honest. Even the vocals are done with respect. Sounds like they saw them live in the eighties.
As for this Absolut advert who knows?.. but it wouldnt be Radiohead in a million years.
That cover of Ceremony is terrible! and vodka?
In the blog portion of that article it had this link to a cover of LWTUA by Broken Social Scene for the movie Time Travelers wife...
Not sure how I feel about this, different, but a better than many others out there![]()

the radiohead one is a decent cover though because i cant compere it to others, because i dont know of another MAJOR well known group that has done a credible version of a early new order track.without even releasing it!! maybe you can think of one?
