Hi everyone! I have been searching everywhere now for a couple of days, and came with nothing so I'm going to ask you guys/gals.
On the original The Perfect Kiss 12" Single (UK Fac 123) from 1985, the track Kiss of Death(my fav song EVER) has a sample of a woman moaning "AH!" at exactly 1:36 on, which beautifully repeats itself for around 14 seconds. Hope you know which one I'm talking about.
The thing is, I was listening to this release by Kraftwerk of Tour de France and on the first B-Side (B1. Tour de France Version) I thought I heard the EXACT same sample of the female moaning at 00:16 on and later at 2:16, 4:33 and 5:48. I'm about 98% it's the same sample.
Here is a youtube video of the Kraftwerk Version in question, (add 2 or 3 seconds from the times I mentioned because the video starts a little late from the song I have but it is the same)
What I'm wondering is, what is that sample? Where did it come from? Was it of common use in the early 1980s?
By the way I know nothing of synths and musical instruments. Many Thanks, Congrats to everyone for the great forums and community.
