Sorry for the watermark. I couldn't find a non-watermarked version.
That's OK. I've never seen that one before. Thanks.

Wasn't this at the Dodgers Stadium in 1991 opening for Depeche Mode with Electronic?

I've been to that site. They have some good pictures.

Found this one while trying to locate an online version of that poster that was around for a while at the arse-end of the 80s: full-colour, Barney singing live circa 84-85(?), no shirt on, drenched in sweat.
Very homoerotic. I had one, but it's all crusty these days.

Ah, the JD/NO penchant for sweets. Wasn't there some comment in the JD doc that said Hooky had the ridiculous idea to give chocolates as a parting gift to a drummer who didn't make the cut? Love that part in Play At Home when Hooky offers Bernard a slice of cake. Boys played nice once upon a time...
I always remember a picture I saw in an obscure mag back in the day which was shot while New Order were recording Republic and it showed the band enjoying a BBQ outside at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios. I t was a great pic, with Barney and Co tucking into big juicy steaks and all these ducks wandering about! Haven't got the mag sadly but if anyone has that pic i'd look to see it posted!!!
:)
Anyone got any pics when Electronic played the Dodgers stadium supporting Depeche Mode? I Remember they appeared on the front of NME when this happened. Good pics of Bernard and Johnny soaking up the LA sun.

I think this was taken in Brazil in November 1988.
That pic is in a magazine clipping I have from '86. I think they were in America.
Same clipping...

If you get a new one, maybe you should try laminating it.

Didn't Hooky have that t-shirt also? Maybe one of them stole it from the other, and they have held a grudge all this time?

Your archive is quite respectable.

Really cool pictures, especially the older ones.

New desktop image right there. Awesome.
hello,
I have photos that I took years ago that I'll try to find and post for you - definetley never been seen before.
from what I can remember they include gigs at hacienda, one from brixton academy [barney wearing barry manilow t-shirt, I know that cause I had one made the same - oh to be young] and some pics from deeside futurama backstage. the wake gave us their passes and we went backstage and played that hoverball game with barney and some others. he'll probably look about 12 in that pic now.
I'll find them and scan and post.
I have all NME and other musical publications from 80-84 so if any good pics then I can do them if anyone that interested.
Cheers
