Pulling from a couple of old threads in this forum along with other sources I came up with the following. These are films that inspired song titles, provided samples, connect to JDNO in some meaningful way, or were inspired by the band. I'm slowly purchasing all of them (indicated by asterisks).

I left out films like Married To The Mob, Something Wild, etc., that only had one song appear on the soundtrack - the exception being Marie Antoinette, because Ceremony was not only used in the trailer, but is also featured prominently in the film (not just used as background music).

Also a film called Loveless, never seen it , so no idea what it is about.

Temptation was in the film Trainspotting and had the actress singing it in the scene. A Joy Division song was also on the soundtrack.

For A Few Dollars More

The soundtrack (track 'La resa Dei Conti' aka 'Sixty Seconds To What?') was inspiration for both Elegia and the Blue Monday bassline.

The chorale section in the middle of Ruined In A Day was something Morricone scored for Moses The Lawgiver in 1975.

Was watching the finale to Once Upon A Time In The West the other day. The way the guitar crashes in so obviously inspired the way Bernard's does on Elegia which he said himself was New Order's attempt to create something Morricone esque

At the very end of Don't Do It there is a bit of backward dialogue which is "Your mother sucks ***** in hell!", taken from The Exorcist.
