My thought is that they should take the bassist from this band and then the singer and drummer from that Bad Lieutenant band that someone posed some tracks from here and they should form a kind of super group... Maybe get a woman to come in on keyboards. They could call it New Order or something.
I like it, looking forward to buying the EP. Also cool to hear Hooky's using the six string more these days.

Great idea, they could do very infrequent gigs, even more infrequent in the states, have a bunch of alcoholic followers calling themselves vikings and maybe an unofficial web site where people can talk utter bollocks, anyone know any Canadian web designers?

That's nothing like the bassline to Ceremony other than it's an arpeggiated chord, the chords themselves are different.

I really liked that, not sure about Burgess's vocals though, or is that just down to the recording here? Sounded like he was trying to go all Goff on us. Half expected him to sing, "Bela Lugosi's dead! Undead! Undead! Undead!"

I'm surprised at how good Hooky's new work is. It's like quitting NO revitalized him. Don't get me wrong, I will defend Revenge and Monaco as much as anything else done by the NO camp, but so far Freebass is sounding better than both of those ventures. I'm looking forward to this E.P. My only concern is it will sound too rough, but that's not really a big concern. Thanks for the link.
