Been trying to find the interview with T.B where he says "that if it wasn't for Power,Corruption and lies" he wouldn't be here.
We all knew he was a fan,but i didn't realise he was that much of a fan,however,listening to cross my path sums it up nicely!
Never been a big charlies fan but You Cross My path is a Fantastic album!
Do know they are playing a "secret" gig in a particular former mining town in South Yorkshire, VERY SOON tho!

Got a feeling that interview where he namedrops PC&L was for the NME way back circa 1990 - the issue where they were on the cover (in a pond or somesuch?).

He also said it on a tv thing Jo Whiley used to present. Music prog with live performances and interviews.Used to be on a Wednesday night, late 90s ish. Electronic were on it once around the time TT came out. Recall them doing Haze live in the studio
He was in Corby a couple of weeks ago, gave him the Wilson badge we did, he was amazed there were Vikings in Corby. Top lad is Tim, he wore one of the other Viking badges at a Charlatans concert we were at, massive fan of New Order and often references them in interviews

Burgess was on the radio about 6 months ago and talked New Order/Factory Records non-stop for about an hour,alternately playing songs from The Charlo's new album and some New Order classics.
He was also in the crowd at Move 2002 bopping away like a gud'un.
Monaco also supported The Charlatans at Newcastle Mayfair around 97' which aint New Order obviously,but y'know, connections aplenty.

Yeah, I superimposed the pic here, natch, but check out his jacket lapel!
