Decades at the Royal Festival Hall will take some beating.

Vanishing Point Reading 89 definitely but Perfect Kiss at Reading 93 was another 'hair standing up on the back of my neck moment' :D

Big Mick I too witnessed that Vanishing Point first-ever performance. Did you also cheers and whistle and whoop just before the end chorus thinking it had finished?

From that same gig, my personal favourite NO moment was when the lights went out, the anticipation grew to preposterous lengths and TBTHOG was unleashed. The thunderous bass drum, snare and sequencer riff nearly knocked my sock off.

HUNTSMAN i did indeed lose my shoes ,slip ons(OFFS) when the crowd surged forward but got them back eventually.And yes i cheered and clapped but it HAD NOT finished.Bloody marvellous.:D

I actually remember disappearing off to the loo for this one, and I think half the G-Mex was encamped in there, all pouring water over ourselves cos it was like a furnace outside.

Do remember thinking the lyrics had actually said 'Suffer Little Children' and thought Barney had gone all 'Morrissey' on us.

Shortly after AOC was unleashed (which sounded absolutely unbelievable) I was picked up by the ruck and carried via a massive human wave of shaved sides and flop-tops about 150ft. I lost my mate a few times who was carried in the opposite direction. Given we were pretty young, keeping above ground and not getting stomped one was one of the main factors of the gig.

I don't think I could have got to the toilet if I'd tried. Even if it was to have a shower.

I eventually took my place in the seats for which i had a ticket at the very edge of the RIGHT HAND SIDE where HOOKY played the drums and twiddled the sequencers or whatever.I was amazed just what went into the PERFECT KISS.I was more tired here at the age of 30 than at this years concerts ,now a young 44!:D I know he plays bass aswell,it is just the drum playing or whatever that stuck in my mind.

the LWTUA encore at Wembley in 86/87 was a pretty stirring moment... "we're gonna play a very very very old song for you now...". The Sister Ray cover was not quite what it could have been, however!!

Didn't they play an utterly stupendous version of Blue Frying Day at Wembley Arena '87? ... where many choir samples were used and the eventual song sounded like it was about to explode?

I would only raise a Pringle to an intruder into my own home or garage. I could never waste them. Very sharp though if hurled at an eye.

Sometimes, if a Pringle is covered in Pepsi-Max the soaked version is not pleasant.

remember a gig at sheff uni...( the octagon ) amd they kicked off wiyh a storming version of temptation...then they played age of consent...dreams never end...ceremony...without a pause in between songs...it was bedlam and after four songs most of the audience were bolloxed....cant remember the full set listing but as you can imagine the gig calmed down a bit after the intro...( i dont even think they played an encore. )..but who cares after that!!!

it was indeed an absolute corker with the choir samples in full effect as I recall... I think similar samples were included in Sister Ray - if memory serves, along with some Star Trek samples "Beam us up Scotty..." etc... as I say, Sister Ray wasn't covered with reverence... the lyrics were Bernard improvisions for the most part also....

Here i go again veering off into ELECTRONIC territory! but when the PSB joined em on stage at Wembley it drew the biggest cheer of the night :D

Kicking off with LV at MOVE certainly drew a pretty spectacular crowd response, or it may have just been the NOOL contigent deafening me from all directions!!! :D
