thanks to the incompetence of GMPTE (greater manchester passenger transport executive) i'm goona have to drive to every gig for the next three years as we wait for a not-wanted-overpriced-takes-20-minutes-longer-than-the-train metrolink extension. in their infinite wisdon they won't be replacing the 23:20 last train with a suitable bus replacement, meaning i'll have to leave manchester at quarter to eleven if i don't want to cop a 20 quid taxi ride home.

on a lighter note, thy're putting on some steam trains on the Oldham Loop on the last day , october 3 . at least they ran on time and didn't cry when they got leaves on the line. rant over, i feel better now.
