Going through the remastered CDs for the first time and I must say, they sound great. But I've noticed that quite a few songs, particularly on the bonus CD's sound different than their Substance counterparts. Why is that? Examples:
True Faith Temptation Confusion The Beach Shame of the Nation
...I am particularly irked about the Substance version of TF not being available on the remastered bonus discs, since that was the version that was most popular and most played on the radio. The Shep Petibone remix is good too, but nothing holds a candle to the original, which highlights Hookey's brilliant bassline during the breakdown. I just don't why it's not on there.
Anyway, the bottomline is, given that there are so many tracks on the remastered CD's that differ from their Substance counterparts, it only makes sense for them to do the right thing and remix/remaster/re-release Substance as a new album. What do ya'll think?
