I like all of them, but most of all the unedited old arrangement (track 2), because of the extended lead guitar, it's almost like the album version, but with the new drum sound underneath it.

I'm very happy with this, there are some glitches at the end of some tracks, but maybe that is going to be corrected in the Recycle-project. I like the bass on the extended mix, but I remember my vinyl 12 inch copy especially for the clear guitar sounds, so maybe this can be corrected too.

For me, the instrumental version was the real winner from this tape.

Thanks anyway for this great music.

Fantastic find! Run and Run 2 are my favourite New Order tracks and this was fascinating to hear. I love the instrumental version and the early rough cuts! Thanks a lot!

iF you are using WINACE.com just extract to hard drive after OPEN option has been used and it will be in FLAC format and then play on iTUNES.Someone more technical will put you right.Probably a very quick way but i like to look at what has been EXTRACTED.:thumb:

ok. ive managed to extract them (using Winace) but they come up as FLAC files not MP3. As FLACS take up huge memory, is there a simple way of coverting these files to MP3 or will I need something like Audacity to convert each track?

Sorry, i admit im not that techy. Any help is much appreciated.

You can use a soft like dbpoweramp music converter, rip it to wave and then to MP3 but you should burn a CD with the wave files :thumb:

you can also use x-Act as well, then rip & convert as stated above. you can convert it to MP3 in i-tunes.

As i said before my son did this for me but used iTunes to play these.I can't recall ANY other software being invoked.Someone HERE should KNOW.Sorry if i can not be any clearer. :thumb: It would seem that all the tracks i have copied into iTUNES has been sent to me by someone who have already written these files to DVD as DATA.So the few New Order tracks i have copied from £50 have been left as FLAC and so the SIZE problem has not been an issue.I only use a laptop with very little memory so keep a lot of tracks on DVDs as DATA and load up as and when needed. It is easy to convert to MP3 in iTUNES to copy to CDr if required.I still prefer VINYL.

try downloading it again, and then unzip it..

there shouldn't be a problem unless you didn't download the whole file..

I managed to unlock it yesterday using winrar. Turns out I had to download all 3 parts.
