Electronic live acts...1991-ish

I was just wondering...does anyone happen to have any recordings of these gigs? I'd love to hear them...they were a bit before my time...

The Dodger Stadium, Cities In the Park, Glasgow and London ones were bootlegged. The Glasgow crowd is fantastic.

There's a gig in USA that they opened for Depeche Mode in 1990. Think it was in the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles

I have a personally recorded audio from the first Dodger Stadium show - the only part I digitized was "Gangster" and can be downloaded here: http://public.me.com/kutastha.. Lots of crowd noise - we were on the floor, about 20 rows back.

I'd love to transfer the whole thing, I just don't have the equipment, time nor expertise to transfer it from the nearing 20 year old cassette.

ooh can someone post the Glasgow one? I was at that concert! I remember us all chanting for the various members of the SMiths (including Morrissey) before the band came on.

this concert is pretty good - that guy's site has some really cool stuff too.

Yes...this is the only pro-shot footage that's been released, however. It's from Cities In The Park, Manchester '90:

Looks like this is the same version of the 2nd generation recording that circulates, but is a marked improvement, being the master and all!

caught the Wembley Hall 1 gig Dec 91. Recall Gretton and Wilson and others coming down the stairs from an upstairs balcony at the end. Can't remember who the others were, possibly Keith Allen

This was recorded on a walkman that was strapped to my friend's arm ("It's my cast from a football injury" my friend said to the Staff Pro Frisker) using earbuds as microphones.

Interestingly I found a bootleg of the Depeche Mode portion of the show and can clearly make out the voices of me and my cohorts - and the goddam screaming chicks in front of us.

The Glasgow gig was my first New Order-related gig. Very busy, very boisterous and a lot of Smiths and New Order T-shirts.

The terrace chant of the night was 'LETS ALL HAVE A BARNEY' before they came on and during a lot of the songs. Is that audible in the bootleg? Would love to hear it. Don't do the downloadtorrentblackmagic thing. Anyone got a CD?

Ha! And if you watch 0.25 you might see someone you know getting squirted with water,at bootom right of screen.Fame at last.

Still got that gig on VHS,but pissed that Electronic get one track on it (the fact that PSB made a special appearance to do GETTING AWAY WITH IT escaped their attention) yet HAPPY MONDAYS get about five songs on the VHS.

The Wembley one was my first ever gig, sigh...
