Don't mean to be picky, but does anyone have the full broadcast recording (where Ceremony and Subculture and Sunrise came from) as opposed to the Windsong CD? I think that recording overall sounds better than the Windsong CD.

The only CD source for that recording is the BBC transcription disc I linked to above, which is terribly rare. I'd be happy just to find MP3s of the whole thing.

There's a number of recordings of this

1. at least one good audience recording.
2. The BBC recording (never liked it, levels are wrong to my ears)
3. A bootleg video, decent enough.
4. There's also a DVD which was over-dubbed by the chap who filmed it. Not sure of the source of this overdubbing, sounds different to BBC recording but very good.

I really like this BBC mix - it sounds quite different from other NO sbd recordings. A shame that some of the tracks (Temptation) aren't anywhere near the best performances of the songs in question. Also a shame that they missed off "Elegia".

It's not the same mix as the officially released CD. To me the CD sounds too sterile and bass heavy, whereas the recording from the BBC archive that you hear on the radio sounds fantastic. They also picked a different set of songs for each.
