Best Bit: Hooky's singing

Worst Bit: When I realized it wasn't Barney singing, I was embarrased because I had praised his "haunting evocation" of Ian Curtis

Favorite part: every last bit of it

Rating: 95 %

Fave animal: as a pet, cats (don't slobber on you like dogs. In general, monkeys (that one looks just like me!)

best bit

The intro.

worst bit

You just can't understand the lyrics on that song!

why you hate it or love it

It's the only track I like on Movement  that helps, but also, the great live performance at the Brixton Academy made me really love it.

Well, whadayaknow? It's on the radio right now (VOXX FM, Lisbon) Oh... followed by Crystal! This DJ is truly a NO/JD fan (a few moments ago he played Isolation)!

Best bit - the intro, truly classic N.O.

Worst bit - the vocals - Hooky ain't no singer !

Like/hate - can't hear/decipher the lyrics. And sadly there ain't a lot to the song once you get the first 30 seconds over with, it sounds like a good idea that petered out !

Percentage - 60%

Favourite animal - cats (domestic rather than wild or whatever they have over there, wherever over there is to you)

hmmm....

best bit-the ending??? no, I actually like the way the vocals are done on this one, with that little echo type effect going on...well, not really an echo...but more like there seems to be a mini-Hooky singing along, but just the ever slightest bit behind...does that make sense???

worst bit-who is that guy that keeps missing notes on his guitar???

love/hate-I can't say that I actually feel one way or the other...it's an alright song...but it is interesting since Hooky is doing the vocals...and seems rare for these guys! :p

I'll give this one a 69%...

I'm fond of penguins...cute little creatures, even if they do stink to high hell!!!!

Best bits of Dreams Never End are the intro and the guitars. Also find myself singing a few of the lyrics : A simple movement or rhyme Could be the smallest of signs

Worst thing is that the singing is mixed so low, and the other lyrics are a bit hard to decipher. After checking what's posted here, I found I was a bit wrong. I'd always thought it was "A long farewell to your soul".

After Ceremony, this was a great start to the first album.

The final answer is cats.

"A long farewell to your soul" is correct. Remember that virtually no New Order songs have 'official' lyrics and that the many efforts at transcribing them appearing on the web are done by people who, understandably, can't hear past the complexities of a Mancunian pronunciation, particulary in the early days before Barney decided he was American :D
