I love the original film Bad Lieutenant, enough so that despite being a Herzog fan, I am not curious to see the remake.

The original with Kietel is pure genius.

Plus, the connotations of "bad lieutenant" are excellent, and Sumner would never admit it, but am sure it has to do with Hook and him falling out. like hook naming his band "revenge" back in the early 90s.
