Booked for FAC 251! Tickets were supposed to be on sale at 10:00,maybe there was confusion over putting the clock forwards an hour. :)
I'm hoping for some gigs in mid to late August, I expect it'll be pretty interesting to see them live.

Freebass played their first full gig in Manchester tonight (June 2) at FAC 251.
The group, which includes former New Order/Joy Division bassist Peter Hook, Primal Scream/The Stone Roses' Mani and Haven's Gary Briggs, performed tracks from their recently released debut album, 'It's A Beautiful Life'.
Opening with the upbeat 'Plan B' the band hit the ground running, before quickly following up with 'It's Not Too Late' and 'The Only Ones Alone'.
Despite The Smiths' Andy Rourke not able to join the band on this tour because of commitments in the US, The Light's Nat Wason was a solid deputy with standout performances on 'World Won't Wait' and 'Sister Surrender'.
Leaving the stage after 'The God Machine', the band then came back on for an encore of 'She Said', which Hook ended with a short bass solo.
Prior to the show Hook revealed that their debut album would be "getting a physical release on August 10", before admitting that hitting the road with Freebass has been "very exciting".
"It's quite funny that, after living with the music for so long, you get a bit blasé about it, you get used to it being there every time you turn the computer on," the bassist told NME. "So to go into a room and play it to people is completely different and I’d forgotten what that was like in a new band format."
He added: "I'd not done it since 1990 for Christ's sake, since I did Revenge. The 'Unknown Pleasures' shows were different as it's something you've lived with and played many many times, so this has been very exciting as it's music we've never played before. Doing it live is better, and sounds better for me, than when we were doing the record."
Mani agreed: "It's always a different kind of magic when you come to play it in a room together anyway and that's music for you."

Though I had to cut last night short (very!) due to having to get the train back to preston, the five songs I heard were great, the vocals sound much better live than on record, it has a bit more edge, rather than very smooth on the album.
the venue is great, but I think they need a bigger stage, it's wierd seeing a band with people of that calibre on what is basically a pub stage.
Great sound in there, but the coke tasted shite! (the drink variety that is!) I'd have thought with an alcoholic being involved in a club, the non alcoholic drinks would have been better.
