I take it he's not a fan of Paul Morley then?

Is he the one that got arrested for shoplifting a Tellytubby bath foam from Boots a good few years ago?

EDIT: Oh that's Steve Strange, forever getting those two mixed up.

"What about Joy Division calling themselves that, and then New Order? They only got away with it 'cos they're fucking ugly and they look like brewers."

He's obviously still got mental health issues, but that is fucking funny:evil4:

Always seemed like Johnny Depp with mental issues... is it wrong that I like it and think its amusing?

I sense he is very bitter at the fact that his own career history is pretty lame.

Funny his comment about Anton Corbin since he was photographed by him on many occasions too. It's true that Paul Morley contributed to the 'myth' of Joy Division - and his writing can be a bit over the top. But At the end of the day it's all about the music. Joy divisions music has standed the test of time and continues to influence. One cannot say the same about Mr. Ant.

Careful Jack, remember you're doing some gigs for Mind the mental health charity, you never know where those NME tossers are snooping for stories.

Great interview - even though I disagree with pretty much every single thing he said. Apart from the Bono bit.

I like it when rock stars are loud and opinionated. How they should be.
