I recently bought the vinyl version of the (negative) Getting Away With It 12" (fac 257r, Electromix)). The "original version" on the 12" suprised me. It was a slightly different mix than the Full Length version that is on the other vinyl and cd versions of the single. It has some additional percussion and different ending. Anyone knows what's up with this mix?

According this site, about the original version, it says:

the original version, meanwhile, has the live, excited feel of a demo, as anne dudley’s sweeping strings were yet to be added.

and...

in america the single was also issued on five formats, the best of which is the cd maxi-single which collated every remix and version bar the aforementioned early mix of getting away with it and the edit of lucky bag, both only ever released on vinyl.

Thanks for that. That explains it then. I thought I had all the mixes and versions on the Warner cd single, but this one was new to me. Not a big miss by the way. Let me guess, the Lucky Bag edit is on the 7"?
