Maybe we haven't reached the end of New Order, yet

The key members of New Order are only in their early fifties. Wouldn't it be badass if they reformed even like, 10-20 years from now totally out of the blue? Release a new trippy dance rock album for the kids, do a highly disorganized world tour... who wouldn't want to see barney, steve, gillian and hooky giving it one last run? I guarantee that they have at least one more creative burst in them as a group. And hell, their songs are so easy to play, they can easily go through their 70s and still play live.

I'd bet on it. This could very well be nothing more than another dip in their careers

I think we'd have more of a chance of seeing New Order receive a Playlist:The Very best of-New Order.

They may one day make some shit arthouse film like they did with "Across The Universe" in lieu of New Order. Imagine the True Faith bit, scary isn't it?

I first thought this post was a piss-take.

I doubt the band will ever reform, but the music will live on forever, you know?

Starring the cast of New Order as seen in 24HPP, soundtrack available on London Records with a shiny faux viking badge made of the finest tinfoil.

Anythings possible with Hooky doing a talent show, so I wouldn't put it past him.

it would be cool if Steve & Gillian did more themes for TV shows...

I'm not sure if I would really want to see them on stage as 70 year olds, but within the next 2-3 years would be amazing.

We could see them do a phoned in parts album, instead of Republic it'd be called Empire.

Kasabian had an album called Empire back in 2006---I think. Off topic? I know that.
