Joy Division night Melbourne Australia December 17th

Flyer soon to follow, just wanted to let anyone on the forum from Melbourne Aus know, about a Joy Division tribute night!

Ceremony presents: A tribute to Joy Division Date: Friday December 17 2010 Admission: $5 (for the stupid APRA fee) Venue: Blue Velvet Bar and Nightclub Address:60 Smith St Collingwood Victoria

Evening starts at 8.30 pm, playing the "Unknown Pleasures" portion of Peter Hook and the Light's performance recorded live at the Palais Theatre Melbourne Australia on September 24th this year, then followed by a Joy Division/New Order special, related artists and indie from the 80's into the night.

Very nice bar, if you haven't been there, good place to have a few drinks with your friends before Christmas.If you are free, hope to see you there.

Starts off with an authorised recording of the Unknown Pleasures portion of the Melbourne Peter Hook and the Light show from the Palais, for those who are interested.

I planned on holding off until there was a special Freebass night, but might relent for this JD stuff, apparently they were alright too. Will be in touch closer to the date, Sir Charge-a-lot
