...the sky will not be grey.
Many fans here don't give a damn to this song but I find it such a pretty good song. Like the melody and Barney's voice in this song.
Even Billy's job is ok to me ![]()

song sux. and corgan doesn't even bother me in any way. the song just sux.
their vocals just sound terrible together.
I agree, I think this is an excellent track...particularly Corgan's line towards the end as the duet with Bernard. I'm glad Billy did this, wish he stuck with it instead of forming Zwan....eh gads!

Love this track. Corgan's harmony at about a minute to go where he sings something like 'Come and take my hand and don't let go' is A1. Sounds more like 'come into my head' but that's just a bit too weird to contemplate.
I like it despite the lyrics about washing his car,the melody reminds me of Leave Me Alone,a truly great New Order song.
It's alright, don't know why it always got such a thumbs down a lot of the time.It was used as the theme tune to that old BBC3 series 'Burn It' wasn't it?
Anyone who hates Corgan on the track, can download the rough version that's around without him on it!
And Smashing Pumpkins reunion=rubbish
It's a nice, decent song. Billy just seems like an added gimmick but it doesn't hurt the song, thou I'm not sure the song needs a duet. Not sure why somebody would complain too much when you've got "Rock the Shack" on there also.
It's a great track, one of the few (aside from Crystal) I regularly revisit from Get Ready.
I don't mind Corgan but the rougher unmixed version that leaked out a couple of years ago with only Bernard's vocal is great.
The ambient intro and reversed guitar line is sublime ![]()

Never heard that, where can a copy be found?
i love it too, enough good song to be a single, one of my favourite from GR, i play it so many times when i buy the album, lyrics really describes my thoughts at that time, thats way i love New Order so much - feel like "shoot right through with a bolt of blue" when listen most of their songs ;)
Big thanks to cranelane for the link, frigging great set of demos. And it does remind me how great that album is.

+1 I had residual noise in my ears for hours after the show. Bloody awful. I like Corgan's singing on 'Turn my way' though.

I like it a lot actually, but it continues the "Let's write a 90 seconds worth of a song, and sing the chorus for half an hour after it's over" nonsense that started with "Brutal".
It just meanders on and on and on with no real purpose after a very short amount of time. (see also: "Crystal").
Another reason why I like WFTSC more than Get Ready. There are actually verses sung beyond the 1:30 mark.
