From Heaven to Heaven book. Good News

Greetings bawbags, finally some good news for all those not lucky enough to grab any of the 100 ltd edition books that were released a while back.

Just got a message from the book's author Dec Hickey, the book will be re-printed and available in the summer hopefully.......

---------------------Just in over the teleprinter... From Heaven To Heaven is now going to get a general release. Following on from the numbered edition of 100 only, hardback copies printed in February, last year, a paperback version will be out mid 2011. Author, Dec Hickey says, "It will be very slightly edited and different in format... but 99% the same book." More info along the way as and when we get it.---------------------

If ye's havnae a scooby what this is, ye's want a skelp round the chops, here's the thread I posted ages ago....

I'd guess if it's paperback, it'll be a smaller book and definitely won't be anywhere near 100 notes me ole fruitcake

i AM two thirds the way through this SHUG.Thanks for this...it is bloody GREAT.Will defo buy this when it is out in paperback.Some of the photos are superb from the Sounchecks.

Told ye it was a BIG book mate! Glad yer enjoying it as much as I did mate. I agree with the photies, there are some absolute crackers mate - also good that Dec had his recorder on during some of the backstage chat and kindly re-printed them. If only someone was around to have documented Joy Division in the same way!!!!

Memories are indeed cloudy from that infamous lock in at Grahame's old bar, though he and Muffy probably remember more than me. I do remember phoning Baldrick at 2 in the morning, just so Hooky could tell him to fuck off. Hooky smoked most of my fags and when Muffy or G said that the Low Life A and B Side was the wrong way round, Hooky asked which album that was, Hooky kept us entertained for a good couple of hours. Absolutely cracking night, just wish one of us had a Dec style recorder
