Hello, I bought TRUE FAITH 12" with matrix numbers FAC 183 A 28C1 and FAC 183 B 29C2 . The indications on the label : 5'53 for TF and 5'55 for 1963. This vinyl is not referenced. Can you help me find the origin of this vinyl. thank you

Timely thread, as I have a similar question, from a mate:

Does the Brotherhood vinyl LP in Metallic sleeve have Fac 150 SP on the label? Always thought mine was metallic sleeve, not sure now! How do I tell?

Anyone?

I have the metallic sleeve but there is no SP on label or sleeve. It is very slightly textured and almost glistens with metallic colours. The standard sleeve is very plain.

Cheers. Mine is not - just a glossy sleeve.

i've got the CD with metallic cover and it came with the car-carry case which i didnt know what it was at the time, i used it to house other stray discs :D

i remember buying the Brotherhood album at Sydney's THE RECORD PLANT and was given a choice to pick these metallic cover edition of BROTHERHOOD either in CD or vinyl format....silly me I picked the CD, well at that time in mid-80s, Compact Disc was like the ultimate item to own...

anyway, thanks to ebay, i now also own the vinyl version of metallic sleep, phew, i could now sleep well.

I *thought* I had FACT150SP, but not sure...

Having a look at the outer sleeve, there's a "FACT 150" on the spine - does that read "FACT 150 SP" on the "metallic" sleeve variant?

As for the True Faith question, no idea - manufactured somewhere in the EEC, but no idea where?

Could that True Faith being Canadian? since there's C1 & C2 to its numbers..? but doesnt make sense for it to be pressed in EEC though..??

Anyway, my metallic sleeve for Brotherhood vinyl has only FACT 150 on the bottom part of spine, same goes for vinyl labels. I think its exactly the same vinyl & inner sleeve as the ordinary version except for the metallic shine on the cover when holding up to a light. So its either the album artwork printed on metallic grey cardboard paper or just simply metallic laminate over ordinary album sleeve...i dunno.

My metallic sleeve CD has similar shine to the CD cover slick but with textured vertical lines across the card cover. Its a Nimbus GB pressed CD, luckily has not disintegrate like other Nimbus CDs.....

Hello, I guess it's an edition BENELUX but I'm not sure.

Sorry for the question on the LP Limited metallic sleeve BROTHERHOOD but I did not do the verification.

I've got a version of Ceremony 12" that I've not seen anywhere else. It's gold.

Do I win £40?

Yes that's the one. Is it unique? And if so, what were you doing in my kitchen?
