apparently this one was stolen from the recording studio and leaked on the internet. I found out about it because of an ad of a mall here in Argentina:
fresh money entering NO's pockets?

Thank you, Alejo! Now I'll have nightmares for the rest of my life (yes, I clicked on the darned link...)

Is 2011 the year of shite artists ruining New Order songs. Whats next?, n dubz cover Temptation.

As if Georgie boy's Poo Faith wasn't bad enough......
Listening to this made mo so angry..... utter, UTTER shite! Where's my gun - someone's gotta die!
Grrrrrrrrr
It's not that I mind other people covering NO - here's a couple of examples of how it should be done:
sounds like thet've got a midi file of BLt and put it through GSCXX to give it that 8-bit nintendo sound. still crap.
Actually it's not THAT bad. I would listen to this any day over the George Michael cover.
Sounds like Kanye more than Jay Z --- and the BLT vocals do not sound anything like anyone in Black Eyed Peas. Is this authentic ?

so uncool. ruined by fav n/o track. fcuk black eyed peas
I was worried as I liked it as first. Until, of course, I realised it was just the BLT riff I was enjoying. As soon as those other cunts started jabbering all over it I turned it off.
It will bug me if it becomes a hit, though, because so many people wont know where that tune came from.

I'm going to call fake on this. That's definitely not Jay-Z, and the rest of the vocals don't sound like any of the Black Eyed Peas. There's no presence of Will.I.AutoTune.

ok, but if you think about it if it becomes a hit and they sell millions more money will enter NO's pockets. therefore they could concentrate in making good music and not in cashing in.... well, maybe! ![]()

Thats very true but Im a stickler for recognition. As its not NOs best remembered tune theres a real chance Black Eye Pea fans will think William thought it up himself and investigate no further, which would be a shame.
If you think Im wrong I once knew a lad who thought Dr Dre just kept coming up with these little clips of music himself, particulary on The Game/50Pence hit 'Take It Or Leave It'.
I remember watching an interview with Run DMC in which they claimed total ignorance of the Stone Roses and'fools gold'. one of their crate-digging lackeys probably found it .
Even if the musicians are incorrect (ie: it might not be Black Eyed Peas & Jay-Z), the song has got to be real song. (someone in the world must have covered it). The question is who?

I don't understand Spanish but I think the link above has info on the advert that Almanso posted in this thread. It says 'Música: “Bizarre Love Triangle” – Animal Musical'
Who are Animal Musical?

well, that's what puzzles me. if it was a stolen demo how on earth someone would put it into an advert? i mean, there're legal issues for using a song for an ad. so that makes me think either is not BEP+JayZ or the ad company made a hell of a mistake (which is possible considering it happened here in Arg!) by using it.

The first item that comes up with a Google search for 'Animal Musical' was this http://www.animalmusicweb.com/ (description of link from Google- Music production company for TV with studios located in Buenos Aires, Miami and Mexico. )
But, that would be Animal Music, not Animal Musical.
.
I don't really know who sings this song or if it's really a demo by Black Eyed Peas and whatever else. The user who put the song (not the advert) up on YouTube only seems to have made the account the same day they uploaded the vid (the location is listed as Argentina in their profile).
can't be black eyed peas..
Fergie isn't spelling her name...
or does she only do that in her solo shit???
I doubt it's Jay-Z or the BEP. There'd be more hype on the net plus Fergie would be singing the chorus, not some random. Plus it sounds like a watered-down Jay-Z to me.
Perhaps some of our Spanish speaking friends can translate the references to "Animal Musical" in the Google references.
If it is a demo, it's possible it was only licensed for commercial use in Argentina and won't air anywhere else.
Where's Hooky Jr when you need him? He may know where the latest royalty cheques are arriving from.
:\pimp3:
not much about Animal Musical on the net. I'm quite convinced now that it wasn't the BEP. I don't know where the guys who made the ad took this song from. maybe they took it from the internet and used it. maybe they hired someone to do it who's called Animal Musical, but if this is the case I'm sure it's someone who works exclusive for ads and not a real band. who knows, maybe there's more info in the future.

That's what I thought too. But I don't really know.
That is 100% NOT Jay Z or the Black Eyed Peas. Big fat fake. It is however STILL better than anything done by Bad Lieutenant. ![]()
"Whatever next?" I hear you ask.
After listening to the Bizarre Love Triangle YouTube, I then saw to my horror:
Thankfully, they probably have never heard of the 1981 Depeche Mode song. ![]()

It definetely sounds like Kanye West, and covers are hot right now after Black Eyed Peas murdered "The Best of My Life".
