Neds are back together now aren't they? I dunno, early 90s indie cops a lot of flack these days but has such an innocence about it that I really look back on with fondness. Doesn't mean I want to listen to Carter USM in 2011 but they were fun times...

Well, theres only two original members left so are they really The Wonder Stuff? And the drummer used to be in Pop Will Eat Itself so its more complicated still.

OMFG this is just too scary for words - Neds, PWEI and Wonder Stuff all reformed with less than their original number of members.

WE REALLY need Gaye Bykers On Acid and Balaam And The Angel to do the decent thing and join in as well. Carter USM DID reform a couple of years back for a 20th anniversary bash didn't they? They're just about bearable though - they always reminded me of a punk Pet Shop Boys. Even though I don't like the Pet Shop Boys.

Course they are, the most important instrument in any band is the singers voice/ performance which can't be replicated. Went to see The Men They Couldn't Hang last year, they were supporting the Wonderstuff who were ace.

And as for that fiddler....

In fairness, half the original Wonder Stuff line-up are dead so you can't really complain about that....

To be honest they reformed in 2000 and havent really gone away since (two albums, numerous tours line-up changes etc). They were only inactive for about 6 years actually.

The Sultans Of Ping The Franks have been playing live and releasing music all the time,but with the Sultans it's a part time venture now (ie they all have proper jobs):)

Oh my god - these two bands take me back to the halcyon days of reading the MM and NME in the early 90s..... couldn't ever get away from them being mentioned incessantly!!!!
