Going to back to a Warsaw punk style (like in "Pictures") might be some fun. At least Hooky seems to be having fun being a punk singer. Don't know if he'll write songs thou, and the guest vocalist thing is pretty unexciting.
I personally wasnt too impressed with the reworking of Atmosphere. IMO Rowanna's(or whatever her name is) voice didnt suit. I liked the music but a softer more feminine voice might have suited more.
I dunno. The jury's out for me.
I actually liked Atmosphere - sounded to me like one of better cover versions. Didn't connect with Pictures though, sounded at first like substandard Cramps?
Despite not liking Rowetta's voice on Atmosphere (sounds more like Opera) I have to say that the instrumental version of Atmosphere on this EP is the most beautiful I have heard.
I wish the Hacienda block of apartments would REALLY look like that. How fucking DARE they tear down the legendary original building and replace it with THAT pile of soulless mediocre shite - much less even have the gall to call it by the same name too.
