Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris will be popping into to chat about a new album 'Total: From Joy Division to New Order', which is out on Rhino Records on 6th June. 'Total' is a chronological look at the bands' most important tracks, and the first time the bands have been brought together on one album'. Bernard will also be talking about Bad Lieutenant.

Its unusual for 2 bands to promote another 2 bands album? Is this a first?
IE Bad Lieutenant and The Light promoting Joy Divison and New Order?
They dont do things the east way lol
They mentioned they hope to have the new BL album finished by the beginning of December, and released by next spring. Bernard also mentioned he's working on a lot of vocals at the minute.
Cheers for the heads up! Good interview I thought. Bit of stuff about Hellbent and the Sirens leftovers....sounds like we will hear them eventually

however relationship between Hooky and Bernard seems still at an all time low 
With Bernard as usual complaining about what a hassle it is writing lyrics,would he have welcomed contributions from other band members I wonder,I seem to remember that Steven Morris wrote the words to Procession,or maybe it was the music he wrote..
Man... it's great to hear the camaraderie between Morris and Barney. It's always talk about Hooky and Barney being frigid, but I wonder what Morris' relationship with Hooky is like.
The more I hear these guys talk/reflect, Morris seems like the most laid-back of the bunch. Barney can't seem to take a single thing seriously. I actually wish Stephen would write a book. It'd probably be the most de facto standard of all accounts. Unfortunately, no one ever wants to interview the damn drummer.
