Blue Monday 88 7" white label

I don't get it.
There were three involved at the sharp end so it's hard to believe they all thought they were bidding on the mystical 1983 Fac73-7...
:\pimp3:
I've told the seller one week ago, that this was not a 1983 7" white label ( matrix info), he replied and said "Thanks", then he changed the auction desciption. First time I saw it, it states release year 1983, now 1988.
Madness, total madness... ![]()
As you quite rightly say, it's not worth even a twentieth of that... Some people obviously have too much money on their hands! ![]()

Yep, it's Ang.
I'm fairly sure that there wasn't any UK pressing whatsoever of Blue Monday on 7" back in 1983, not even one single test pressing, so it's a search for something that never existed.

The subject of popular debate over the years in these pages! People want to believe it exists and yet no one - to anyone's knowledge - has ever produced a shred of evidence. It's a nice Factory fable.
